Medusa Cosmetics Eye Dust Review

I am an amateur makeup geek. I geek about it more than I actually have perfected the art. I'm not the most skilled, but I am learning every day and having fun no matter what.

I'm always so ecstatic to try out new makeup products and love to experiment. I'd like to share with you my latest discovery, Medusa.

With their flashy and dramatic design, I was hooked on their site within milliseconds. Eye candy will draw me in, but performance will make me stay and stalk you. Medusa did just that.

Their take:

This is Medusa's Make-Up most inspiring product.  People can not get enough of it! This Eye Dust is truly an amazing mineral eye shadow in the form of fine loose powder, think powdered sugar. This all natural mineral eye dust is by far the best in the industry. It glides on the skin like silk and wears well all day long. Each color carries it's own characteristics, some shimmer, sparkle, some have iridescence and many are highly pigmented. Apply "Stick It" for dramatic

I partake in a makeup group where we do looks of the week, as mentioned in a previous review with my first LOTW. This is my second look of the week, Fairy.  I call it pixie in punk, as it turned out more punk than anything else. Picture a nymph chilling on a Lilly pad playing guitar, and that is what I was going for. I really should have photoshopped some pointy ears. It's begging for it.

That hair was because it had to be done. As if it was fate, It matched perfectly to the eye dust i'm reviewing today.

For this look I used "Purple rain" eye dust for my eyes, lips and cheeks. I combined it with a Mia Mariu turquoise, almost sea colored shadow, to get a blueish purple tinted lip. A blurple tinted lip. That sounds so ridiculous that I like it.

I used an elf eye liner in black, for the eye design.

My Take:

This particular eye dust triples as an eyeshadow, lip color and blush in one.

It is safe to use on all parts of the face, and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin in the slightest.

What I love about this cosmetics line:
  • Cruelty Free- PETA Certified
  • The most vibrant choices in colors you will ever encounter-48 to be exact
  • Incredibly pigmented
  • Affordable cost - MSRP $7 plus s/h for 1.5 gram jar
  • Bang for your buck with 3 cosmetics in one
  • Minimal ingredients-literally 3 things:  Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Iron Oxide.
  • Non irritating
  • Vegan
I am thrilled with this workhorse of an eye dust.

Medusa is the perfect makeup if you want to show some flash, add a splash of color and get a little attention. These colors are definitely not every day wear for me, but they carry a whole line of more tame choices as well. I love the deep purple, berry, greens and browns.

You can check out the many products Medusa has to offer here. As well as keep up with promotions at their Facebook.

    1. It's awesome isn't it? Some products you can make a 3 and one on your own, but mark my word, you will pay for it with some kind of reaction.
