My first thought "Please don't be another overpowering floral scent" and to my happy surprise, Neroli is nothing like that. It is described as a musky floral combo, but to my senses comes a fruity floral, yet spicy perfume.
As always, this scent is encased by their ever growing gorgeous packaging, in a heavy duty plastic with a pretty milky color that blends into a clear background from the bottom up.
Upon first spray, I smelled a very orange citrus fruity scent, then I detected a certain spice to it. A few minutes later after rubbing my wrists together, it died down to a lightly sweet, floral, yet fruity and spicy scent. Neroli is a very feminine and refreshing scent, perfect for any woman. Not at all overpoweringly sweet or spicey. Just a nice union of unique notes. I find it very unique, incomparable to anything I have ever smelled.
To give you a better idea, here is a breakdown of the notes.
- Main notes: Bigarade and Bergamot. I definitely detect a lot of the Bergamot, which gives the spicy note.
- The heart of it: Orange Blossom and Neroli. Neroli is an essential oil that is distilled from the flowers of the Seville orange.
- Base note: Musks. My nose detects very light notes of this. I love this perfume and I hate heavy musks, so that should give you a good idea.
The lotion isn't thick or thin, it's just right for a light moisturizer in the summer and left my hands smooth. It is an exact duplicate of the perfume, along with the shower gel, which was pleasant to use this morning. I paired everything together and I feel like my scent may be lingering all over the place. This stuff has staying power!
I also recommend adding other fruity scents to compliment, such as more orange blossom layered on top or even a sweet orange citrus scent if you like it sweeter.
Neroli is all natural and made with a list of ingredients that is not a mile long. This fragrance and it's ingredients have not been tested on animals, as with all their products.
Those of you sensitive to perfume sprays, I usually cough when I spray perfume and I noticed I didn't with this one.
You can purchase Neroli perfume for a competitive price of $37, the lotion for $16 and the shower gel for $14. Free Shipping when you spend only $40!
