Cosmetique Madeleine Mono Review & Giveaway!

I love good makeup, but what I love more is the eye candy that is the packaging it comes in. Cosmetique has lovely packaging. This is an online makeup store that carries a variety of popular beauty lines. They also have their own lines, one of which I am reviewing today, The Madeleine Mono collection.

This palette has some gorgeous deep colors and nice neutrals, perfect for autumn. The colors go on smooth, with a bit of fall out, so you definitely need a good primer. It takes a bit of layering before you get a true deep color. Most of them are matte colors and I love the green. You'll see swatches down below. This was after about 3 swipes of color building.

I absolutely LOVE the packaging. It has a very sleek sophisticated black casing and a durable thick plastic cover, which is really nice for the protection of the palette. I think ALL eyeshadows should come with this!

The Bronzer is nice, but the darker side of it was just not right for my skin tone at all, even with the two mixed.  However, the lighter side looks pretty to give color and a bit of definition and highlight in the face.

Again, I love the packaging of this as well. The sponge hidden in the bottom of the compact is great and the sleek black packaging is lovely.

Here are the eyeshadow colors and the Bronzer duo.

The last product is the lipshine. It has a pleasant fruity scent and it's not sticky, which I hate about most lipglosses. It gives a lot of shine and goes on very neutral, bringing out your natural lipcolor. It also has a convenient mirror for application.

Overall, I am mostly happy with the quality of the product and in love with the packaging design. I think all other makeup companies should take some tips from their packaging ideas, because they are very innovative and helpful to the user.  It's great for everyday use, but awesome for traveling.
