Looking for a pair of perfect sunglasses for your face frame?
When shopping for sunglasses, you don't want to make the mistake of getting some that are too small, too narrow or too big. There are so many different sizes and styles, so it is a must to try them on or at least make sure the store you buy them from online has a good try before buy or return policy.
There are several factors to keep in mind when looking for the best sunglasses for your face frame.
- If you have a wider face, heart shaped or round, any wide square or round lense sunglasses work wonders to disguise it. I prefer a mixture of round and square. Stay clear from glasses smaller than your face frame. It will only accentuate your width. Also make sure the frames are thick to further offset the width.
- If you have a square shaped face, offset it with the exact opposite, round sunglasses.
- If you have an oval shaped face, almost any sunglasses will look good on you, aren't you lucky!
Make sure they stay snug when they're on, but not too snug. The most annoying thing is buying sunglasses too big for your head and dealing with the aftermath of that. No matter how much tightening I did on a pair I had, they still managed to fall when barely moving around.
Also, there are so many cute sunglasses that look so odd when you put them on top of your head away from your eyes. Make sure they don't look doofy when you have them on both ways or if you really love them on, just wear them attached to your wrist or a necklace when not in use.
Personally, I like a pair of sunglasses for several outfits. Both fancy, casual and well, blang blang. I need variety in my life! The must have staple though, is a simple pair of black sunglasses. Something that will go with everything.
The sunglasses I am wearing are the "Swag" style from Nectar. They are perfect for my face shape and come with 100% UV protection with a polarized filter. Incredibly light weight yet durable sunglasses, very comfortable, stylish and cling to my head no matter what.
Those are the basics of finding the best sunglasses for your face frame and they usually work very well as a guideline! Just remember, go the opposite of your face frame and you will look awesome in your new sunglasses.
